About youth for youth
Founded in 2023, our annnual dinner is the fullfiment of our deepest wish to help those most in need, a cause that is particulary close to our hearts, and the pleasure of putting our passion for hospitality to good use.
It’s just the story of two long-time friends who had a dream of helping children in need.
In the vibrant heart of New York, a story of friendship and passion has been blossoming since childhood.
Two friends, united by their shared love for the art of hospitality and cuisine, embarked on an extraordinary journey.
For the third year, they rise to the challenge of organizing a charity gala, blending gastronomy with generosity.
Their ambition? To create unforgettable moments where conviviality meets compassion, where every dish tells a story of heart and commitment.
Together, they celebrate the art of giving while reinventing culinary elegance, one plate at a time.

Executive Chef/Back of House Director
Josh is a passionate young chef and entrepreneur who loves cooking and bringing people together through food. Whether catering to private events for his catering business Josh Kid Caterer, developing artisanal food products like a line of cold soups he self-distributes in the summer to grocery stores, or organizing pop-ups (like his previous one with Alexander), Josh brings creativity and precision to every dish.
His culinary journey has led him to helm fundraising dinners and week-long pop-ups, raising thousands for the Ronald McDonald House, and earning recognition in various news outlets. Professionally trained at the Institute of Culinary Education, and having worked in restaurants, Josh continues to refine his craft while balancing school at the Lycée Français de New York.
He’s also a passionate mixologist/bartender and enjoys developing cocktails as well as hunting down new drinks and spirits. He’s the recipient of numerous certifications from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust as well, in the fields of Spirits, Beer, and Wine. Josh’s culinary style blends old-school recipes and techniques from around the world with new, modern expressions of them using seasonal and local ingredients.
